Sqlserver ODBC: is there something available like substitute in sql.ini?

Hi to All,

I'm looking for a solution to substitute parts of a sql-statement during
runtime, similar to the substitute definitions in sql.ini, but in a normal
odbc environment (without any odbc router from gupta/Centura/unify). The app
is not a TD-App, but a reporting systems like business objects etc.

What I want to change on the fly, is e.g sysadm.table_xy to
test.table_xy

Any hint in that direction is very appreciated

First Idea was to look for some free odbc-tracer and to use their
sourcecode.
But what i saw so far was that they use the build in tracing functionality.
Those ones have the con that you cant manipulate the statement

Maybe this is a direction where you should point to...
I mean there must be somehwere a tracing tool which let you not only log the
statement but manipulate it also...
