Hello
With the new version of td (5.1) the old dll aren't compatible with the new
td unicode version.

I'm looking for the source code or the 5.1version of some dl's.

Xsal32.dll from icetea
Ml32.dll from carano

thanks in advance for your help

Hi Didier,

I will contact you directly with the source code for XSal2 last licensed
version. You have the corporate license and therefore already have access to
the full source code.

We did not produce the version for TD 5.0 and do not have a version for 5.1.
When 5.1 will be available we will evaluate the effort needed to make XSal2
compatible with the new version.

Please remember that the source code is not redistributable.

Hi Didier,

did you get the dlls working?
We also use XSal2 and ML32 so we face the same problems.
Did you contact Carano? Are they still supporting ml32.dll and provided a
version for TD5.1?

Regards,
Thomas L.

I have the source code of the xsal dll but it'is not very easy to adapt the
dll with the little example of CTD.

With ML 32 I haven't response yet, from carano since 3 weeks. I hope to see
a representant of carano at devcon in Munich

For these reason i'm very interesting if someone have the source code and
more examples to adapt dll with unicode.

Hi Didier,

what must be done, to adapt the DLLs to Unicode?
I guess calls like "GetWindowLongA" have to be changed to "GetWindowLongW"
and MultiByteToWideChar and WideCharToMultByte have to be called sometimes.

Have the Winapi calls from the TD apps to be adapted?

I hope iceteagroup will upgrade their products and make them TD 5.1
compatible.

Regards,
Thomas L.

Iceteagroup is working on the adatation of the xsal.

Actualy my main problem is ml32 from carano.

May be i see you on the devcon in munich

Hi Matthias,

We are working to upgrade XSal2 to work with 5.1. The problem for us is that
HSTRING is only unicode and there are a lot of places in XSal where we have
to convert to/from ASCII. Unfortunately, we had a late start because we did
not receive the invitation to the beta program. Hopefully we'll have
something by the end of the year or early next year.

Regards,
Gianluca

Hi Gianluca,
thanks for that information. Please notify me, if there is an solution
because we have to reimplement our changes into the code after this. Is
this Update for free?

We will make it free for licenses bought within this year. Otherwise the
upgrade fee will be very little.

Best,
Gianluca
