The only possibility for this would be to make a form without border and put some code with it to have it as background of the mdi form. THat is not so hard, I already did that.
Then on that form place a internet explorer shdocvw.dll control and make it point to the url of choice.

That would be my simple solution. So these are 2 problems, the background thing is already explained several times in the forum, the internet explorer is just a simple active x control
on a form, which should be simple enough.

Of what part do you need an example?
The active x you need is called 'microsoft web browser', I attached an old background source. My own one has too many base class dependancies to really pull it off this was easier.
I added another background app and a super simple webbrowser which I threw together in 10 minutes..

It depends tho what rss type there is used (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS ) but this should probably do the trick assuming you do not work with an ancient version of ie
O yes of course you can use mozilla as far as I know. See http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/control.htm

I guess this should get you on the way...

Have fun...

Hello Didier,

I have no sample, but an idea ...
Maybe you can use the cQuickHTML-custom control (qckwax.apl) for this
purpose.
In its properties you can set the URL you want to display.
Just put in a Form with "Tile to Parent" set to "Yes".

Hope this helps!
Cheers from Vienna,
Alex
