TD 5.2 - Sending mails with attachment via default email client?

Hello, I have a task to perform which requires sending emails via DEFAULT email client of the users' system.

I have already looked through some samples including cgmail, some SMTP solutions, but it seems that finding a universal solution for TD5.2 is quite complicated. Could you point me in a direction of a usable library or solution that would be able to handle my requirements?
Unfortunately, SalMail is not a thing in TD5.2 afaik.
