I'm seeking for a way to do an export from a centura DB into a MySql DB.
Has anyone done this?

Is there a gateway (like oragtwy)?

You might want to Check the UNLOAD command via SqlTalk . This will
Unload the Data to an Ascii/Sql file. MySql shoudl have some way of
importing this.

Hi,

there is no direct way to do the job.
If you have to transfer only a few tables from SQLBase to mySQL you
should write a script, that creates the table structure in mySQL.
With a script language (VBScript, Perl etc.) you can transfer the data
between SQLBase and mySQL.
If you have the possibility to use an ER tool like ERWin you can
automate the table generation. An alternate way can be to use
middleware via ODBC (e.g. XML-tools like BizTalk).
We move databases in some cases with MS Access, if the structure can
migrated.
Hope it helps.
