I can confirm this. This also happens in TD 6.2 SP1.

Really strange, there seems to be a fixed Timer-ID, which could lead to trouble.

8 years later the issue is still there (7.4.3)

Since I only had one timer set, I didn't evaluate the timer-ID (wParam) and was wondering about strange results.

In 7.3.4 the Table Window does also send a seperate SAM_Timer , as well as Grid, if you set focus to Grid first, then focus to Table.

Here's an 'explanation' from OT:

This is a known event, used to restart the edit mode of a cell when focus is set into the cell.
Since each (cell Timer) has its own event ID (62 and 63), this would not interfere with events started with any SalSetTimer() event that you would set up.

So it seems you're supposed to explicitly exclude Timer ID's 62 nd 63 from any SAM_Timer processing. Great.

I think the Timer ID's (wParam of the Message) are 98 and 99 (= hexadecimal 62 and 63).
