No, 4.2 was never certified nor tested since these DBs weren't around then, and dev./QA don't back-test or -certify older TDs. I'm big on 'jump in!' so suggest you test . You might also want to post your question re SB in the forum's SQLBase section; the DB types hang out there and might have some input as well. Can't see it on the Compatibility matrix
Have you done any searching here to look for existing threads on this topic?

Jeff - Thanks.
I have explained exactly what you have said to the client - they have not yet upgraded to SBS 11 ( by this I mean Small Business Server 2011 - not SQLBase v11 ) , so was unsure if their existing v4.2 <----> SQLServer apps would work ok, before going to SBS 2011.
I have searched the forum first, before posting of course.

Re: TD4.2 on SBS 11 & SQL Server 2008 ?
no problems with TD 1.5.1
our apps still written with TD 1.5.1 are working with
SQL 2000
SQL 2005
SQL 2008
SQL 2012
of course we don't use native sql functions, a SQL 2000 server doesn't know.
some customers have a SBS installation.
maybe you have to set the sql server 2008 in the compatibility mode 80 (SQL Server2000) if you use non ansi outer joins
in your app.
