Hi!
Sorry for bothering you again, but I have a problem with our new application icon (the one that should be visible in explorer for the EXE). While the Icon is displayed correctly on an MDI Form[1] (set in the Form Attributes), it's not used as 'Target Icon' in the Build Settings. I have checked the 'Embed Images In Executable' box.
But it gets worse: Not only does the icon fail to display, if I try to compile the executable Team Developer crashes with an access violation (screenshot included in the repro case). If I remove the target Icon, the application compiles just fine.
Since I know that TD can deal with Icons, I suspect that there's something fishy with the icons (although TD shouldn't just crash) or some problem in TD with certain icon properties.
I have included a repro case including a sample application, the icon in question and a screenshot of the crash.
Thank you for looking into this,
clem
[1] The repro case does not include an MDI Form, only a normal form, same thing: icon shows on the form, but not on the exe itself.

Re: Application Icon and crash
Hi y'all!
I found the problem: If the 256x256px layer is removed, everything works just fine (even alpha channel, afaics).
PNG compression seems not to be supported (I can live without that for the moment).
Are there any plans to support 256x256 icons?
greetings, clem
